This Fiber Coupled Portable-FC-NDT is a self-contained high power UV LED light source. It was designed for NDT Dye Penetrant inspection in tight spaces and is powered by two 9v batteries for field operation or by AC adapter for inside use.

Optical fibers with 500um core with 1mm outer diameter are thin enough to be used in the working channel of videoscopes. (Click here to see this products on Olympus Video Scope page.)

Wide core fiber optics deliver more UV light are ideal for PT inspection where a videoscope is not needed.

Fiber optics must be purchased separately.

This LED does not have a filter to remove visible light. For pre-filtered UV light see our FC-F-UV product.
